Stage I Break-In is a controlled RC nitro engine break-in service designed to properly seat the piston and sleeve while stabilizing compression, temperature behavior, and overall operating characteristics.
The engine is heat-cycled under monitored conditions to help ensure proper component mating and long-term reliability. This process gives the engine a safer, more consistent start before it is leaned for full performance.
After the Stage I break-in process is complete, the engine is returned with a safe baseline tune, ready for gradual leaning and final adjustment based on your fuel, glow plug, pipe, weather, gearing, and vehicle load.
