The O.S. Speed R2106 is a factory-tuned .21 nitro engine developed for high-level 1/8-scale on-road racing competition. Designed for racers who demand strong acceleration, smooth power delivery, and reliable high-RPM performance, the R2106 builds on O.S. Speed’s proven on-road racing platform.
This engine features a new 9-port cylinder liner with redesigned port timing to improve overall power output. To deliver a stronger power feel from the low end through the midrange, the R2106 uses a crankshaft design based on the R21 Euro II, along with a ceramic rear ball bearing inspired by O.S. off-road racing engines.
A newly reinforced connecting rod adds strength and durability for the demanding conditions of 1/8 on-road racing, helping the engine handle sustained high RPM, long straights, and aggressive race use.
