I saved my lunch money (and lunch was cheap back then!) for nearly a year to buy my first 1/8th scale kit and a .21 engine. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for R/C cars — not just driving them, but understanding them.

 

I’ve always enjoyed the mechanics behind the machines and can’t rest until I know why something isn’t performing the way it should. That drive to figure things out has shaped how I approach every engine that comes across my bench. Whether it’s a break-in, a tune, or a full rebuild, I take pride in treating every engine like it’s my own, ensuring it runs strong, smooth, and ready to perform.
